The company carries two basic types of carport structures. certified or uncertified. with the main difference being that certified structures are larger and specifically designed by an engineer. Certified structures are engineered to withstand a certain amount of wind and snow load and are backed by a 20 year limited warranty. Uncertified structures on the other hand. only come with a 30 day workmanship warranty.
Polyethylene is more commonly used in the newer designs of carports. These are portable shelters constructed with galvanized steel frame and polyethylene canopy. This material shows resistant against UV rays. rot. mildew and water. Another option is that of metal carports. These generally have a longer life span of about fifteen to twenty years. The frame and roof are both constructed with galvanized steel. The roofs are further coated with silicon to provide enhanced protection and longer life. Metal is more robust and has greater sustainability. The roof will not twist or warp and will be highly resistant to corrosion.
