The company carries two basic types of carport structures. certified or uncertified. with the main difference being that certified structures are larger and specifically designed by an engineer. Certified structures are engineered to withstand a certain amount of wind and snow load and are backed by a 20 year limited warranty. Uncertified structures on the other hand. only come with a 30 day workmanship warranty.
One of the more popular portable carports is the polyethylene canopy design. These carports are designed with a galvanized steel frame and a polyethylene canopy on top. While the galvanized steel frame itself is designed to not corrode when exposed to the elements. the canopy is made from heavy duty polyethylene and given multiple treatments to withstand the elements. This includes being waterproof. UV resistant. mildew. and rot resistant. With air allowed to circulate under the shelter. your car isn`t prone to forming dry rot or mildew on the surface.
